Events 2024

Jan 21st 2024 @ Monarch Mountain

We are sponsoring another Species Awareness Day at Monarch Mountain next Sunday, January 21, 2024! Come glide as a Monarch Butterfly, a Beaver, or another species of concern!

This is a benefit for E3 kFM Kundalini Fire Management’s E3 ecologic public education program. Monarch Butterfly wings and beaver masks and tails will be available for purchase. We encourage everyone to wear these costumes safely while skiing or riding, and then we will meet at the top of Freeway Run at 2 pm, and then as a huge group, we will glide down the mountain1

The act of doing this is intended to be a restorative-action-prayer for these species of concern, some that have been driven to the point of extinction, and some who are also keystone species.

Come join us next Sunday and glide with us!

E3FFM / E3Ecologic are hosting a Community Education Event at the Elephant Cloud Jan 17th at 3pm!

Presentation will begin at 3.30pm.

We will be using this beautiful illustration to show how the habitat of our riparian zones in this area can function and we will discuss the ways in which it is currently impaired, what we can all do to support it using a regenerative and restorative approach and detailing our current projects. We will also be talking about current fire mitigation projects and will have a question and answer session and some time for meet and greet! We hope to see you!
